    Description
    Behavioral Health Provider Staff
    Full-Time

    As a Psychiatrist for Swope Health's Behavioral Health Department, you will be apart of a team of caregivers who provide care and support for those who need it the most.

    Our Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric services for Child/Adult patients of Swope Health. Developing treatment plans according to patient's needs and extent of emotional, social, cognitive, developmental or behavioral disorder. Establishes and monitors system for psychiatric approval of diagnosis/problem lists, case management plans and staff review of client progress.
    Establishes criteria for required psychiatric evaluations and monitors performance against those criteria.

    Establishes and maintains consultation and referral system with physicians and the other providers in the Center and in the community.

    Participates in activities of community services program as needed.
    Primary responsibility for inpatient services with assistance of the designated inpatient manager.
    Must complete Patient Safety Training curriculum.
    PT Only. No PRN.
    Behavioral health services will be provided at the primary clinics through Behavioral Health Consultants.
    Completed ACGME Accredited Residency Training in Psychiatry
