    Description

    Wealth Management Specialist

    Join our team as a Wealth Management Specialist and interact with clients to ensure their trust assets are well managed, aiming at achieving their specific trust and estate planning goals.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Manage various types of trust and estate accounts, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, testamentary trusts, ILITS, IRA accounts, and more.
    • Deliver exceptional client service, build strong client relationships, and oversee trust accounts effectively to meet client investment goals and distribution requirements.
    • Act as a trustworthy fiduciary for our clients, identifying growth opportunities and providing excellent service.
    • Handle account opening processes, review critical forms, ensure proper funding, and manage account coding efficiently.
    • Coordinate with Private Bankers and Investment Counselors to initiate investment management, utilizing various investment products.
    • Review distribution requests, update account information, and work with tax preparers to complete tax returns.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures related to account activities.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and attend client meetings and investment reviews.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for trust and client relationship management.
    • Supervise and work closely with an Assistant Trust Officer.
    • Engage in the trust and estate professional community locally.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant education/certification such as a bachelor's degree in finance, MBA, JD, CFTA.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a client-facing fiduciary role, specializing in trust and estate management.
    • Strong knowledge of legal, investment, and tax matters in trust and estate management.
    • Team player with a focus on integrity, communication, and client service.
    • Self-motivated individual with a commitment to continuous improvement.

    Location: This position is based in New York, USA.

    Salary Range: Competitive salary between $129,000 and $194,760 per year, in addition to various employee benefits.
