- Service and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues on Lagoon Crawlers and Vac trucks
- Rebuild and install gear boxes
- Collaborate with Service Manager to prioritize service requests
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Document parts and time on each work order
- Undertake light fabrication, cutting, and assembly of steel components
- Offer onsite repairs and maintenance for customer equipment
- Prepare new and used machinery for customer delivery
- Execute mechanical duties with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and take ownership of service tasks for both internal and external customers
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment including shop floors, tools, and job space
- Maintain open communication with colleagues and supervisors regarding daily tasks and progress
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines Awareness and adherence to service standards for warranty and customer satisfaction
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work well in a team and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Capability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- CDL or willingness to obtain one
