    Job Description

    Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a prominent broadcast production company offering managed services to major networks, corporations, and studios worldwide. Specializing in live multicamera productions, BMG operates in key cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Las Vegas.

    We are looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our team, ensuring smooth operation of our computer networks for top-quality broadcast transmission globally. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining networks, managing hardware and software, handling disaster recovery, enhancing cybersecurity measures, managing VLANs, VPN technologies, and providing support for various systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Network Maintenance: Ensure smooth functioning of computer networks and related systems.
    • Disaster Recovery: Manage operations to minimize downtime and protect critical data.
    • Cybersecurity: Implement strong security measures to prevent cyber threats.
    • Hardware Replacement: Identify and replace faulty hardware components promptly.
    • VLAN and VPN Management: Create and manage secure communication channels.
    • Integration Support: Assist with new builds and network integration efficiently.
    • System Support: Provide comprehensive support for all systems, both client and employee-facing.
    • User Collaboration: Work closely with network users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Client and Employee Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for support and inquiries.
    • Live Broadcast Production Planning: Contribute to production planning ensuring network infrastructure meets requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven experience in network administration and maintenance.
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices and disaster recovery operations.
    • Familiarity with Fortinet products and VPN technologies, including IPsec tunnels.
    • Experience in broadcast networking is advantageous.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Availability for night and weekend work based on production schedules.
