    Description


    The Controls Engineer is responsible for using/modifying automated controls systems to help ensure the plant is producing the best products most effectively and efficiently.

    They are responsible for ensuring all controls equipment are properly maintained and functioning to current safety standards. They will Ensure machine controls for safety systems meet Sistema Level D category and

    support blending and packaging systems. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Siemens PCS7, Rockwell ControlLogix, SLC, PLC5, FactoryTalk View, and AutoCAD.

    Required Skills & Experience


    Must Haves:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls/Instrumentation)
    * 5+ years' experience in consumer product controls (designing and programming)

    * 3+ years of experience with controls/electrical engineering full lifecycle project execution.


    • Knowledge of Siemens PCS7 & Batch/DCS, ProFiBus DP & PA, Profinet, Rockwell PLC's and software, Sistema
    • Knowledge of Safety Controls (Machine safety) and Safety Systems Design & Programming and understanding safety categories
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience


    Plusses:

    • Master's in Engineering or Business Administration
    • Blending controls development experience, OEE data collection implementation and packaging line integration
    • Professional Engineer Licenses
    • Rockwell Automation Product Certification
    • Siemens Product Certifications
    • Project Management Certifications

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
