- Manage team and deadlines to ensure timely arrival of raw materials and production.
- Develop relationships across functions to ensure products meet quality and cost standards.
- Oversee factory partnerships through regular visits to local factories and virtual calls with import partners.
- Lead Supply Chain projects focusing on delivering cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with PD and Design Managers to establish seasonal handoff dates.
- Analyze lead times and MOQs, sharing insights with Merchandising for seasonal purchases.
- Create and manage production calendars with vendors for each season.
- Review seasonal projections and factory capacity, addressing concerns and communicating with factories.
- Act as the main contact for the merchandising team to ensure timely projections and orders.
- Supervise the Production team in material orders and optimized logistics.
- Ensure factories comply with quality standards and negotiate production costs.
- Maintain cost files for Core products and support new factory onboarding.
- Forecast sourcing challenges due to global events and maintain financial balances.
- Ensure on-time product delivery and provide regular production updates.
- Manage QC processes for materials and finished goods.
- Monitor product defects post-launch and collaborate with 3PL for operational excellence.
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to meet annual goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in distribution and logistics operations.
- Develop cost-efficient solutions leveraging industry expertise.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and 3PL providers.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to minimize chargebacks.
- Audit 3PL and freight providers for compliance.
- Provide weekly reports on production status and insights to cross-functional partners.
- Conduct post-season production analysis and lead team growth initiatives.
- Engage in other relevant projects as needed.
- Experience in domestic and import production, familiarity with incoterms and logistics.
- Knowledge of multi-channel fulfillment operations and retail math.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor onboarding, and quality control.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong leadership capabilities.
