Position Summary


As a member of our Coaching Staff, you goal is to provide cutting edge Group Training instruction through a variety of challenging, educational, and fun workouts that promote overall fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment.

Coaches at East Austin Athletic Club are passionate about helping members reach their goals through EAAC's scientifically based group training programs.


Maintains positive relationships with members to educate, motivate, and promote a health way of life by delivering quality, on brand group fit and Small Group training programs.

You will greet members and guests, answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform other administrative tasks to ensure that the gym runs smoothly.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM TO LEARN AND EXECUTE

  • PT Business Management
  • Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systems
  • Market and sell personal training and Memberships to members and/or Intro through
- in-person interactions

  • Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products
  • Service and Hospitality
  • Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members
  • Coach a workout above member and/or Client expectations
  • Be prepared before workouts begin, study and understand all aspects of the days workout (Tempo, rep scheme, focus, etc.)
  • Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor while coaching classes
  • Professional Development
  • Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions
  • Attend and participate in any required oneonone or team meetings with management

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Current Nationally recognized _Personal Training certification_ or a _bachelor's degree_ in the field
  • 2 years of Group Fitness Experience is required
  • Olympic Lifting Experience/Certifications are a BONUS
  • Certification reimbursement opportunity for nonPT certified applicants
  • Current CPR/AED certification (Certification opportunities available for noncertified applicants)
  • Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
  • Ability to work inperson during weekdays/weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and technology skills
  • Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful

Part-time


Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour
