- Handle incoming service calls
- Schedule customer service appointments
- Inform customers about the arrival of special ordered parts
- Notify customers of open recalls on their vehicles
- Send appointment confirmation emails
- Update guest information for address changes or mailing list requests
- Manage loaner vehicles inventory
- Monitor and follow up on open Repair Orders
- Contact declined service customers via email or text
- Support Service Manager with various projects
- Execute other assigned tasks
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
- Associate Degree (A.A.) is desirable
- Prior experience in customer service (6 months to 1 year) is advantageous
- Ability to establish positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with file and record management
- Effective time management skills and productivity in a fast-paced setting
- Outstanding guest service, phone etiquette, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Punctuality, dependability, and reliability are key
- Capacity to work independently and take direction as needed

The Service BDC Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service within the service department.
