Vice President of Therapeutic Development Nosis Bio is a well-funded biotech startup exclusively focused on cell-specific delivery of RNA therapies.
We are an all-scientist team of biologists, chemists, and machine learning experts that believe targeted extrahepatic delivery is the only thing preventing RNA therapies from becoming the standard-of-care for most chronic diseases.
We combine deep expertise in receptor biology, generative AI, and high throughput in vivo data generation to exponentially accelerate the development of RNA therapeutics for new tissues.
About the role We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to join us as VP of Therapeutic Development to continue building and managing our portfolio of RNA therapeutic programs.
The ideal candidate will have had experiences both developing RNA platforms and driving preclinical and/or clinical programs with increasing leadership responsibilities throughout their career.
The position requires a combination of deep technical understanding, general business acumen, project management skills, superior communication skills, and the ability to grow and lead scientific teams.
Strategic leadership and accountability to drive the development of Nosis' differentiated therapeutic pipelineLead external collaborations with consultants, advisors, academics, and CROs to advance programs to key milestones
Develop and instill strong project management practices in the team
Communicate project and team performance to leadership and external customers
Work in conjunction with Nosis Business Development Team to directly interface with current and potential external partners
Establish strong partnership with Nosis platform teams to develop a strategy to scale the number of programs Nosis can support– through standardization, institution of processes, etc.
PhD in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, molecular biology or related field~Experiences both in platform development and program leadership
~ Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
~ Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to effectively convey project plans and complex technical information to a wide range of internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners
