Job Description AECOM
is seeking a Project Manager III** to join our Asset Advisory Services team in any the following offices: San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Orange, CA or Seattle, WA.

Job Summary/Responsibilities
Our clients are wide-ranging, from large government entities (municipal and federal) to global commercial organizations. The commonality between our clients is they manage large real estate portfolios.

Our team's mission is to assist these clients with technology implementation, strategic recommendations, building code analysis, condition assessment and capital planning.

Some key responsibilities the Project Manager III- Asset Advisory Services hire will be performing include:

  • Can exercise independent judgement in determining how work is performed but receives guidance and direction on new projects, tasks and priorities from team leadership
  • Act as the client's key point of contact on assigned projects
  • Maintain project finances and documentation according to AECOM standards
  • Become an AECOM Certified Project Manager within 3 months of hiring
  • Identify ways to improve project and team processes and workflows
  • Contribute to project deliverables which may involve technical writing, data collection and research
  • Perform work related to asset management and strategic planning, including developing capital projects and performing quality reviews of data
  • Lead field assignments
  • Technology implementation/improvement of our asset management tools
  • Train AECOM staff and subcontractors on Asset Advisory processes
  • Assist with proposals and business development
  • Direct project tasks and mentor less experienced staff
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as manage conflicts and diverse personalities.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed within deadlines.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements**- A degree (BS/BA) in Architecture, Engineering, or Planning + 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of accumulated professional experience
  • Licensed Architect or Engineer (RA, PE) in the United States (California preferably)
  • Good written and verbal communication, including technical writing
  • IAM and/or PMP certification
  • Experience managing all phases of capital projects
  • Broad knowledge of building and construction, design, including advanced understanding of industry practices
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Comfortable with learning and using digital data collection tools and online platforms.
  • Enterprise asset management system experience helpful.
  • Develops plans, studies and analyses on regional basis.
  • Conducts meetings and presents reports and other findings to staff with advi
