- The Nurse Manager (NM) is in charge of overseeing inpatient and outpatient wound care services in multiple medical centers and clinics including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Responsible for nursing leadership, care delivery, and budget management of nursing units.
- Coordinates activities, supervises staff, and ensures high quality patient care on a 24/7 basis.
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed RN in Georgia. Professional certification within two years of hire.
- Educational Requirements: Nursing degree (BSN or MSN).
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years as an RN, 1 year of direct healthcare delivery supervision.
- Professional organization membership within one month of hire.
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications:
- Preferred Educational Requirements: Masters Degree within five years of hire.
- Preferred Experience: 2 years nursing leadership experience.
- Monitors care quality, implements customer service programs, and coaches staff.
- Interacts with physicians, schedules work assignments, and oversees personnel actions.
- Develops strategic goals, reviews performance reports, and maintains unit records.
