    VCA Colonial Animal Hospital is a 17 doctor hybrid hospital seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER team part time and full time.

    We are proud to be one of the premier providers of primary, specialty and emergency care located in the heart of the beautiful Fingerlakes region in Upstate New York.

    We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing advanced care and management of ill patients in an ER Specialty setting.

    This is a wonderful opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who desires a challenge and the opportunity to grow and contribute to a collaborative team.

    Invasive monitoring
    CT/Radiology
    Anesthesia monitoring
    CRI's, blood transfusions, IV and oral medication administration
    Medical record input- history taking

    Technical ability to include compassionate handling and restraint, strong patient assessment and monitoring skills, the ability to perform supportive and invasive therapies and emergency procedure.
