    Director of Project Development


    Location:
    Remote

    Cleantech (Solar)
    $180-250K

    Job Overview:


    The Director of Project Development is responsible for leading and managing the development of utility-scale solar projects from inception through to completion.

    This involves overseeing multiple projects throughout the different stages of their lifecycle. A strong background in the renewable energy space, preferably solar, is required for this role.

    Responsibilities:
    Lead and direct a number of projects simultaneously
    Build and manage a team of solar professionals
    Analyze and track team performance
    Reporting to upper management, through weekly reports
    Develop comprehensive project scopes and plans
    Continuously improve development practices and processes, whilst identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
    Problem solve throughout the project life cycle

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field
    10+ years' experience in renewable energy project development
    5+ years in a leadership role
    In-depth knowledge of solar technologies
    Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
    Strong leadership skills
