Technical Project Manager Building Systems Overview We are seeking a technical project manager to contribute to the development and optimization of our building systems tools.
In this role, your duties will include collaborating with other teams and pushing integrations into currently existing enterprise systems.To ensure success as a technical project manager, you should exhibit strong leadership skills and extensive experience in project delivery.
Responsibilities Develop and document process flows for legacy and to-be processes. Create, update, and maintain project plans, weekly status reports and management reports. Develop scalable internal SOPs and training, external-facing documentation and messaging to be set as a standard. Deploy strategic thinking to drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks. Be seen as a strategic partner and point of escalation for any topics by all lines of business. Manage and or collaborate with global teams across several time-zones. Drive follow-up activities in collaboration with all groups associated with the project work streams.Ensure proactive communication & goal alignment with key stakeholders & customers, and regularly provide project updates (timelines, milestones, risks, performance metrics) to teams & stakeholders.
Provide regular feedback to core teams, including the product team, engineering team, and development team. Requirements Experience managing enhancements and process improvements in ticketing systems, specifically Zendesk. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and meet deadlines. Navigates effectively and thrives in working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.1+ years experience working with iterative style development life cycles such as rapid application development, extreme programming, or agile development.
At least 4-6 years of experience in project management with IT projects is crucial. 3-5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a related industry. An ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and align teams based on those tasks is crucial.
