- Actingas the first point of contact for BEG Division HR staff if they have Peoplenet/SuccessFactors (HRIS) issues that cannot be resolved with the corporate peoplenet team - understanding how all teams are using the systems.
- Helping CPO maintain the Talent Management listing of nominations; assisting with nominations for corporate programs and getting the Declaration of Consents (DOC) assigned/completed, partnering with local L&D staff.
- Administering the bi-annual survey activities for BEG; understand divisional/company needs and work with the Corporate Survey team to ensure company setup is correct.
- Assisting with compliance for all Bertelsmann HR requests - ensure reporting is occurring in a timely manner.
- Supporting BEG central staff as required, working with the NY BINC team on any issues.
- ESG Corporate support, including but not limited to:
- Being first point of contact for project management associated with BEG divisional ESG reporting and new ESRS reporting requirements.
- Supporting the CR Council member operationally for ESG reporting and ESRS reporting standards.
- Coordinatingdivisional contact persons for ESG reporting.
- Ensuringthe information flow within the division for ESG reporting and any updates in ESRS reporting standards.
- Assisting with the content and reporting of certain divisional specific topics related to ESG.
- Assisting with identifying local data providers and coordinate local data collection for divisional ESG topics as needed.
- Providingassistance to local divisional data providers on ESG reporting as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- 3+ years experience working in Human Resources and with HRIS systems
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with plans in place to complete Associate's degree.
- High level of discretion and attention to detail
- Strong sense of urgency and passion for corporate reporting/audit needs, as well as BEG employee support
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of business management and operations
- Analytical and organizational skills to move projects forward, implement change, and measure results
- Ability to be self-directed and deal with ambiguity
- Strong knowledge of HR concepts and practices
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple employee groups
- PHR, or equivalent certification

The Human Resources & ESG Generalist serves as the HR and ESG support professional to the Chief People Officer for the Bertelsmann Education Group (BEG) Division. This role supports division-wide HR and ESG operations, including but not limited to talent management nominations, training monitoring and reporting, ESG reporting support, and other related tasks as directed by the CPO.
