Description
Job DescriptionPittsburg State University is accepting applications for a Campus Services System Administrator in Information Technology Services. This position will provide administration, development and maintenance of the various systems employed by Technical Support personnel. This can include application packaging and deployment, operating system deployment, inventory management, software and system licensing and remote support. It will also be involved in special projects with other areas of ITS as required, including Security and Server/System Administration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
50% System administration for the Campus Services Technical Support area. This can include Operating System deployment, inventory, application packaging and deployment, document archival services, and remote support options.
20% Technical Advisement for Campus Services staff. Assist the Director of Campus Services and Technical Support Leads with investigating and resolving problems.
20% Research and Development of new systems, processes, and procedures to help Campus Services staff be more effective and efficient.
10% Other Duties and Responsibilities.
Required Education and Experience at Hire -
Job Type: Unclassified
Appointment Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
