    Description
    We have a contract opportunity for a Senior Documentation Specialist in Fremont California. This position is initially approved through the end of the year. The client is a world class manufacturer of life-saving Biologic medicines.

    Pay Rate: $41.00/Hr.

    Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM

    Job Description:
    • Perform requested updates to Engineering Drawings
    • Make changes to engineering drawings using AutoDesk AutoCAD or other drafting/modeling programs, to the specifications of the drawing project or redline documents.
    • Maintain drawings in the Engineering Drawing Management System (EDMS)
    • Download, upload, update, start/complete tasks and otherwise maintain drawings and data in the EDMS system. (Specifically, Siemens COMOS)
    • Maintains and Completes Work Orders in task management system (MAXIMO)
    • Work Order tracking is accomplished via Maximo application and requires some manual input
    • Drawings may contain intellectual property and therefore must be treated as such. All files must be kept in a secure file system and may not be disseminated to unapproved parties.
    Skills:
    1. Expert knowledge in AutoCAD and design
    2. Site facility knowledge
    3. Experience in GMP manufacturing facilities An ability to read, understand and modify Engineering drawings, including P&ID's
    Desired Requirements:
    • Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    • Three to five years of experience in related Life Science industry
    • Knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry and AutoCAD experience Skills and Experience.
