We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to fill our new opening for a Document Control Specialist.


This position is responsible for leading, establishing and maintaining both ERP and PLM systems capable of meeting Engineering, quality and company requirements for documentation in a Semiconductor Equipment design and manufacturing environment.

This position manages and leads company initiatives, establishes configuration management policies and procedures, and provides training for all employees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Establish and maintains the PLM (ARENA) and ERP (Expandable and Netsuite) systems compliant with company, and customer (both internal and external) requirements.

Manage users, access levels and accounts.- Maintain PLM system to manage documentation to ensure full compliance with the generation and release of new documentation.


  • Provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization and requirements.
  • Responsible for document change control. Control design changes will include, but not limited to test results, software/hardware configuration documentation, design history files, customer communication, and deviations.
  • Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into released product documentation.
  • Ensures accuracy by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization and system updates.
  • Authorizes the release of drawings and software configuration changes throughout the product development process (alpha and numeric release states)
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional departments to ensure timely implementation of change requests and change orders (ECR/ECO's).
  • Responsible for procedure reviews and facilitating procedure updates with process owners.
  • Responsible for reviewing the cost impact of ECOs/FCOs
  • Assure that all company personnel are adequately trained in the principles, policies, and procedures of both the PLM and ERP systems.
  • Responsible for assisting with documentation and processes needed for ISO audits
  • Runs the weekly CCB meetings to document and track implementation tasks.

Qualifications:

Minimum
-
Required Education & Experience:


  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years configuration management/document control experience.
  • 3+ years of prior supervisory or management experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of the fundamentals of configuration management.
  • Knowledge of understanding drawings
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to review/update processes/procedures.
  • Understanding of supply chain, purchasing and rework costs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of electronic record and electronic signature requirements.

Preferred:


  • Good system integration and project management skills.
  • Experience with ARENA PLM, Netsuite and Expandable ERP systems.

Salary Range:


We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.

The base salary for this job $95K Annual Base.

Individual base salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

In addition, our benefit package includes medical and dental coverage, equity participation plan, 401(k).
