    Description
    • Perform mental health assessments
    • Order necessary testing (labs, EKG) for routine and acute mental health care
    • Analyze and interpret data to establish appropriate treatment planning
    • Initiate necessary referrals/consults to specialists and other health professionals/services
    • Educate individuals regarding mental health related matters including treatments, medications, diet and other issues as required
    • Provide management for acute and chronic mental illness under the direction of the supervising physician
    • Prescribe necessary mediations, as authorized by law and with the limits of the written Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner agreement, to remit/resolve patient mental health problems/symptoms
    • Provide services to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients
