Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Sales Job Description

PAY STATUS:
Non-exempt

SUPERVISES:
N/A

PAY RANGE:
$80,000-$90,000

Significant Duties:

Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of commercial flooring projects, from initial client consultation to project completion.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on flooring solutions.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.
Conduct onsite inspections to assess project progress and address any issues that may arise.
Sales and Business Development:
Actively seek new business opportunities and generate leads within the commercial flooring sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Product Knowledge and Industry Trends:
Stay current with industry trends, flooring materials, and installation techniques.
Provide clients with indepth product knowledge, helping them make informed decisions based on their specific needs.
Collaborate with suppliers to stay informed about the latest products and technologies in the commercial flooring market.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with project teams, including installers and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
Collaborate with internal departments such as estimating, procurement, and quality control to optimize project workflows.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience in commercial flooring project management and sales.
Strong understanding of various flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Resultsoriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of construction and building codes related to flooring installations.

Pay:
$80, $90,000.00 per year
