Commercial Flooring Project Manager / Sales Job Description


PAY STATUS:
Non-exempt


SUPERVISES:
N/A


PAY RANGE:
$80,000-$90,000


Significant Duties:


  • Project Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of commercial flooring projects, from initial client consultation to project completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on flooring solutions.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct onsite inspections to assess project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Actively seek new business opportunities and generate leads within the commercial flooring sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Product Knowledge and Industry Trends:
  • Stay current with industry trends, flooring materials, and installation techniques.
  • Provide clients with indepth product knowledge, helping them make informed decisions based on their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to stay informed about the latest products and technologies in the commercial flooring market.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project teams, including installers and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as estimating, procurement, and quality control to optimize project workflows.

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in commercial flooring project management and sales.
  • Strong understanding of various flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Resultsoriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of construction and building codes related to flooring installations.

Pay:
$80, $90,000.00 per year
