- Utilizing Smart3D (formerly SmartPlant 3D) to create 3D electrical models of the electrical systems within and supporting the SMR plant, including but not limited to single line diagrams, cable trays & cable tray supports, raceways, lighting, duct banks, cable routing, pull boxes, and embedded conduit
- Maintaining and checking the S3D model to ensure accuracy, and resolution of interferences
- Maintaining and checking the S3D model to ensure constructability, accuracy, and absence of interferences
- Developing and checking design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
- Building relationships that will facilitate knowledge transfer, cross functional knowledge of related work groups, and ability to present work products effectively
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a SmartPlant 3D Electrical Designer
- Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards, and design and/or layout criteria
- Strong knowledge of electrical drafting and design standards and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and capability of producing error-free documents
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills
- Working understanding and hands on experience of other design software, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks, and Revit
- Completion of Intergraph/Hexagon certified training courses
- Professional certification in Electrical design
- Progressive work experience in design or other relevant types of engineering such as systems startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/ construction firms.
