Technician Machining Engineering (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities:


As a member of the Global Machining Technology Team, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting machining experiments in our technology laboratory in Fürth.

The focus will be on complex machining processes, including 5-axis machining and various types of machines. You will work with the latest digital tools and CAM systems to improve solutions for our customers. You will also assist in planning, preparing, and conducting trainings and demonstrations. Solution development will be done in close collaboration with our engineering team and CAD/CAM experts. The role involves working with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, and manufacturing. You will also provide technical support on-site for customers when needed.


Your Profile:


  • Successful completion of training as a machinist or equivalent education
  • Extensive machining knowledge and a proven track record in machining complex parts
  • Practical experience in CAD/CAM programming (minimum 3 years) of complex workpieces
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing, machine tools, and cutting tools
  • Experience and skills in conducting experiments on machine tools and performing experimental analyses to evaluate technical solutions
  • Communication skills in English and German
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
