    Description

    Key Responsibilities:


    As a Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Legal business team and ensuring effective communication between business and technology.


    Your responsibilities will include:
    Facilitate and consolidate the outcomes of design workshops and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
    Reviewing all the information gathered, including notes, insights, and artifacts.
    Create and Analyze the affinity diagram to identify recurring themes and priorities.
    Documenting the key takeaways, actionable items, and recommendations.
    Sharing the synthesized information with participants for validation and feedback.

    Create Swimlanes, affinity maps, and user journeys for process mapping to visually represent the activities of different stakeholders or teams within a design workshop or JAD session.

    Synthesize and consolidate the outcomes of workshops and sessions into clear, comprehensive, and actionable documentation.

    Elicit, analyze, and document requirements using a variety of techniques such as use cases, user stories, and visual aids like diagrams and prototypes.

    Ensure that all stakeholders' perspectives and needs are accurately represented in the resulting documentation.
    Work closely with project managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into feasible solutions.
    Provide support for testing and quality assurance activities to ensure alignment with the documented requirements.

    Skills and Qualifications:
    To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
    5-6 years of industry experience, with a strong understanding of the legal domain, especially within Legal Tech platforms.
    4-5 years of experience in eBilling and Matter management.
    Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and comprehend complex topics.
    Previous experience in writing documentation and procedural materials for various audiences.
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an acute attention to detail.

    Experience collaborating with engineering teams to enhance user experience, including design, user interface (UI) improvement, and refining content while creating visuals and diagrams for technical support material.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Preferred qualifications that would set you apart in this role:

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of prioritization.
    Experience in eBilling and Matter Management tools like Litify/ teamconnect.
    Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).
    Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
    Adept at using data modeling and diagramming tools.

    Pay Range:
    $75 - $105


    The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
