What to expect at Lanesboro?

  • You will be responsible for the operation of Oracle databases
  • You will be involved in error analysis and troubleshooting
  • You will perform performance analysis and tuning
  • You will implement backup and recovery strategies
  • You will handle incident, problem, and change management
  • You will prepare updates and upgrades for Oracle servers and databases

What should you bring?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in operating very large databases and highly available environments
  • You have extensive experience working with highly available database environments (Oracle RAC)
  • You have a strong knowledge of migration, installation, backup/recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • You are experienced in working with Oracle RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Dataguard
  • You have practical knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL
  • You have experience in incident and change management
  • You ideally have obtained some certifications (e.g. OCP)
  • You have excellent German language skills (at least C1 level)
