Job Details
Manage the purchase and sale of scrap metal at our Milwaukee, WI location. You will be responsible for both ferrous and non-ferrous trading, but non-ferrous trading will probably be the primary focus.
Solidify existing relationships with scrap metal suppliers and customers.
Develop new relationships with scrap metal suppliers and customers.
Work with the operations team to ensure the timely and efficient processing of scrap metal at the
location.
Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing structures and potential business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements and other terms for purchasing and selling ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal to maximize profitability and foster long-term relationships.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
Knowledge of scrap metal grades and industry quality/grading standards by grade.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of market trends and dynamics.
