Do you enjoy helping others succeed and making sure that new employees are trained correctly? This opportunity will allow you to take your training skills as well as your clerical experience to help L&I keep Washington safe and working.
Unit staff will come to you regarding Imaging program content for 14 program areas, policies, procedures and technical system operations.
You will exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying rules and regulations and select/recommend alternative courses of action.This position is also responsible for monitoring program activities by performing monthly quality assurance checks to determine consistency with program goals.
By supporting this important work, you enable Agency staff to provide timely and accurate service for our customers.This also allows our customers to access the most current actions and information on their industrial claims through the Claims and Account Center (CAC).
Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, with a passion for helping others succeed, and has current working knowledge of rules and processes used within the Imaging program.
Some of what you'll do:
Administer comprehensive training program to new employees.
Assist staff and provide program support.
Train new employees use and operation of all imaging and data base software: KOFAX, ORION/IDM, LINIIS, Ask L&I, e-mail, word processing application, spreadsheet applications, intranet.
Direct and assign the work of new employees to ensure development in the in-training plan.Advise imaging staff regarding program content, policies, procedures and technical system operations for 14 different program areas with over 400 different document types.
Assist imaging staff use and operation of all imaging and data base software.Monitor program activities for consistency by performing monthly quality assurance checks for 45-55 production staff to determine if production levels and accuracy are meeting established program goals.
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.Provide imaging systems support.

High school diploma or equivalent
AND
two (2) years of experience within the Imaging program.
*May substitute equivalent education for up to one year of imaging experience. Things You Need To Know
To help you maintain a proper work-life balance, teleworking is one of the work schedule options for this position. L&I also offers flexible custom work schedules.
Telework is dependent upon business needs and supervisor approval. For this position, while assigned a trainee, trainers are expected to be in office to support their trainee.
The assigned duty station for this position is Tumwater, Washington.
