- Lead initial Product Resourcing production approval process including evaluation of merchandise, documentation, analysis, and communication of evaluation results, and execution of inspector training program.
- Conduct reference sample selection and coordinate transition to the product resourcing coordinator or project manager.
- Conduct sample reviews and provide comprehensive feedback to the project manager.
- Perform XRF Analysis on incoming resourced Components and Finished Goods. (Training will be provided).
- Assist in documentation of defects and conduct further testing when needed.
- Research and assist in resolving project issues related to specific Product Resourcing products and process defects. Work closely with Repairs, Returns, Product Engineering, Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, and Inventory.
- Conduct Finished Goods audits (as needed), create audit report and communicate results internally.
- Assist in inventory transactions & cycle counts.
- Support other Product Resourcing QA initiatives as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years jewelry experience preferred.
- Experienced working as part of a Team.
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Knowledge of quality systems and tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Attention to detail with ability to work on long term and short-term projects, including the ability to inspect merchandise for corrective action purposes as required.
- Strong organizational and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage time efficiently.
- Experience using problem solving tools preferred.
- GIA or similar gemology certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of InDesign a plus.

Overview
The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for evaluating the first run of ASR production and auditing production of David Yurman Product related to the product resourcing initiatives.
