Description
Under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist assigned by the Program Director of the Psychology Internship Program, functions as a psychologist in training.
In general the scope of activities is that of a licensed psychologist.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The intern must meet one of the following educational requirements:
D (in some cases Ed.
D) program in clinical, counseling, health or neuro psychology and certification from the training director of readiness for internship.
in a branch of psychology other than clinical, counseling, health, or neuro psychology plus enrollment in a respecialization program recognized by the National Register or the APA .
Enrollment in an APA accredited program is preferred.LICENSURES REQUIRED:
The intern must apply for a limited license in psychology in Michigan.
