    Medical Receptionist /Must be Bilingual

    We are looking for a bright and friendly individual that is a strong team player with the ability to interact with the public and leave a lasting positive impression.

    Job Details:
    • Job Type: Full-time
    • Salary: $ $25.00 per hour
    • Must be a multitasker.
    • Work Location: Multiple locations/Salinas and Monterey
    Duties:
    • Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures.
    • Checking eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.
    • Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
    • Greeting patients and checking them in
    • Answering multiline telephone/transfer calls
    • Make appointments and verify demographics
    • Following up on unpaid patient bills.
    • Identifying and billing secondary or tertiary insurances.
    • Reviewing accounts for insurance of patient follow-up.
    • Setting up patient payment plans and work collection accounts.
    • Updating cash spreadsheets, and running collection reports.
    • Taking patient co payments and balance payments
    • Punctual and no attendance issues.
    • Fast learner and a team player
    Basic requirements most often listed include:
    • A high school diploma
    • Health Care Administration preferred.
    • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting
