    $22.00 /Hour

    At CoreCivic wedo more than manage inmates, we care for people. CoreCivic iscurrently seeking Certified Medical Assistantswho have a passion for providing the highest quality carein an institutional setting.

    Theincumbent should be able to perform all of the following functionsat a pace and level of performance consistent with the jobperformancerequirements

      Administer medication to inmates/residentsunder the direct supervision of the Health ServicesAdministrator.
    1. Obtain, monitor, record and report vitalsigns and patient's condition asneeded.
    2. Prepare patients forphysical exams, procedures andtreatments.
      3. Assist nurse/physician with physical exams, proceduresand treatments.Engage in functions in confined areas that include suchthings as working rotating shifts and physically checking thedoors, windows and other areas to verify they aresecure.

    Qualifications:

    • Highschool diploma, GED certification or equivalent or greater.
    • Mustbe state certified as a Medical Assistant in the state ofemployment or meet the state guidelines for exceptions tocertification.
    • Avalid driver's license is required.
    • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 yearsofage.
