- Expertly manage and act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of one or more highly strategic marketplaces in which Pattern does business
- Manage and develop 2-3 direct reports and be responsible for various marketplaces managed by those reporting directly to you
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Pattern brand partners across various selling platforms. Examples of these marketplaces are: Walmart, Target, eBay, Macy's, Kohls, and TikTok Shop as well as other marketplaces in the Americas such as Amazon Canada, Amazon Mexico and Mercado Libre, Walmart Canada & Walmart Mexico
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring alignment with their business objectives and growth goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, sales, operations, and finance to coordinate efforts and maximize marketplace opportunities
- Analyze marketplace data and trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and expansion into new channels or regions
- Develop and execute business plans tailored to each marketplace platform, leveraging insights and best practices to drive sales, increase visibility, and enhance brand presence
- Drive operational efficiencies through process improvements, automation, and strategic resource allocation, ensuring smooth and scalable operations across all marketplace channels
- 5+ years of experience operating in an online, marketplace, multi-channel, or retail environment (Channel management, Advertising, CPG, Merchandising, Analytics, Finance, etc.)
- Proven track record of success in driving sales and growth on platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target, potentially working in LatAm marketplaces such as Amazon Mexico, Walmart Mexico, Mercado Libre, or others
- Seasoned communication skills and ability to effectively strategize and interface with Pattern's most complex marketplace partners
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, able to translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations
- Ability to strategize and analyze complex problems from multiple approaches that may be outside the scope of a standard marketplace business situation
- Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, trends, and best practices, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the e-commerce landscape
- Solid business acumen and ability to conduct and analyze retail math to assess key retail metrics, make informed decisions, and optimize operations
- Previous team or cross-functional management experience, preferred
- Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including business planning, partner relationship management, and performance optimization across multiple platforms and channels

The Associate Director of Marketplaces helps lead all aspects of Pattern brand partner go-to-market strategies. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule (M/W/Th) based in Lehi, UT.
