The Pestalozzi Children and Youth Village near Lake Constance is a facility for child and youth welfare, providing full-time care, schooling, nine agricultural and artisan training companies, and a wide range of therapy services.


The therapy department offers a broad spectrum of therapeutic support, including curative eurythmy, speech, music, art, work, and equine therapy, systemic therapy, and child and adolescent psychotherapy.

The therapy center supports the family-like pedagogical work in the children's village families through targeted therapeutic and counseling services.

In a multidisciplinary team, children and adolescents who have developed behavioral problems and adjustment disorders, such as emotional or attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders, conduct disorders, etc., often as a result of significant biographical burdens/traumas, are accompanied from early childhood to the age of 21.

Another focus is on promoting children and adolescents in their gross and fine motor, language, and cognitive development.


We are looking for a music therapist (m/f/d) to start on September 9, 2024, in a part-time position of 60%.

The position is temporary, covering a parental leave.


Responsibilities:

  • Independently conducting planned therapies in individual sessions
  • Creating therapyspecific diagnoses, setting and developing therapy goals and concepts
  • Documenting therapy progress and writing therapy reports for youth welfare offices
  • Submitting applications to ensure financing
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with all areas involved in the help process
