Your responsibilities:

As an IT System Engineer Virtualization IBM Power (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and monitoring of IBM Power8 and Power9 systems, including managed LPARs in two distributed data centers.

You will manage the central backup infrastructure (Cohesity) and the central SVC storage, and further develop them.

You will be involved in the continuous development of the existing virtualization environment (PowerVC and Cloud) with a strong focus on automation.

You will maintain and update documentation of the infrastructure and forecasting on an ongoing basis.

You will take on a sub-project management role, working across departments on rollouts, migrations, and upgrades.

You will handle service requests and incidents according to internal standards.
