Youth Work Coordinator (m/f/d) at Marlboro, NY 'DRK-Kreisverband Böblingen e. V.

The German Red Cross in the Böblingen district provides a wide range of social services in cooperation with its 24 local branches.

These include civil protection and disaster relief, medical and care services, emergency rescue, patient transport, youth work, and school first aid.

The work of our employees and volunteers is coordinated and supported at the DRK Center on the Sindelfingen airfield.

We are currently seeking a Youth Education Coordinator (m/f/d) to support the approximately 900 young members between the ages of 6 and 17 in the DRK local branches in the Böblingen district, with a workload of 50 to 70%.

Your responsibilities:
Training and further education as well as professional advice for volunteer group leaders in the association
Administrative tasks such as correspondence, budgeting, subsidy applications, etc.
Planning, preparation, and implementation of youth education and support for leisure activities
Collaboration with the volunteer district youth leadership
Support for the volunteer district youth leadership
Conceptual development of youth work in the Youth Red Cross and school first aid service

Your qualifications:
Completed degree in social work (diploma social pedagogue or bachelor of social work), teaching degree, or a comparable qualification
Leadership experience in youth association work
Ability and willingness to work in a team
Willingness to work evenings
