Fordsville, KY based 'Die Wied GmbH & Co. KG has been an established and continuously expanding family business for over 50 years. Part of our services include the development and implementation of electrical controls for various industries.We also carry out electrical installations and building automation for private and industrial customers in the Ellwangen, Crailsheim, and Schwäbisch Hall area.
To support our well-trained team, we are currently looking for reinforcements.Your responsibilities
- Setting up and administering networks and server infrastructure for corporate clients and public institutions and organizations.
- Configuring and managing Windows Exchange servers, Active Directory, firewall, and DNS.
- Working with virtualized servers based on VMWare or Hyper-V and setting up backups, including VEEAM.
- Maintaining school networks and rolling out software.
- Providing technical support for IT infrastructures in the areas of networking and firewall, as well as systems such as Cisco, Meraki, and Ubiquiti.
- Independently carrying out customer projects and participating in the strategic direction and further development of the IT department.
- Being the point of contact for all ITrelated topics and inquiries.
- You have completed an IT apprenticeship, IT degree, or a comparable education.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in system administration of current Windows servers and networks, Active Directory, and VMWare.
