    **Description**

    **Key Responsibilities**

    Ensures the success of an inside sales team and distribution center responsible for supporting the following key responsibilities:

    1. Completes branch operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

    2. Assures customer satisfaction by making sure support functions are performed as needed

    3. Acts as internal support for warehouse and sales staff when Warehouse Manager is not available, on site, or off.

    4. Ensures security/safety by acting as on site facilities manager for normal everyday procedures

    5. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees in DC

    6. Maintains staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

    7. Facilitates communication by acting as liaison between DC and corporate

    8. Ensures conformity of all procedures, company policies and proper work instructions

    9. Achieves branch financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

    10. Meets sales objectives by conducting sales meetings; establishing sales quotas; monitoring sales results; applying marketing research; defining strategies

    11. Contributes to the corporate team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    **Minimum Educational Requirements**

    High School Diploma (GED required; Bachelor's Degree in sales or relevant course of study ideal).

    **Experience Required**

    The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of management related experience with a working knowledge of inside sales. Experience working with warehouse operation is a plus, but not required.

    **Experience**

    **Required**

    **1 year:** Experience utilizing a CRM for managing a sales funnel.

    **1 year:** Experience managing a team to increase overall customer or prospect activity, visibility of opportunities ultimately increasing sales volume.

    **1 year:** Proven ability to understand pricing techniques to ensure profitable sales.

    **2 years:** Proven ability to prospect for new sales opportunities to increase customer counts.

    **2 years:** Strong knowledge of telecommunications industry with a working knowledge of outside plant material.

    **2 years:** Successfully negotiated and closed sales opportunities.

    **3 years:** Managed and insides sales team successfully achieving sales goals.

    **5 years:** Managed a team of 5 or more staff to achieving successful objectives.
