- Perform subcontract management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts
- Solicit subcontractors, supporting various award types and take a lead role on fact finding, proposal analysis and risk assessment with guidance from peers
- Manage tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationship, which includes interface with technical and contract organizations, such as Program Management, Program Office and Contracts.
- Issue modifications, solicit Engineering Change Proposals and issue Stop Work Orders.
- Be the focal point for subcontractor performance
- Ability to develop sound business cases, and analyze data.
- Communicate clearly, strong writing skills, be proactive in a very fast paced environment, flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and drive tasks to completion
- Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement, proposal price/cost analysis, strategic sourcing, and/or industry related areas
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience creating, negotiating and awarding both fixed price and cost type subcontracts
- Demonstrate working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and all levels of management including willingness to interact directly with subcontractors
- Experience soliciting, evaluating and documenting cost and price proposals
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes and procedures
- Security Clearance, preferred
