Tracking Code Job Description **Position Summary**
The Roanoke Branch Manager partners daily with the Roanoke facility, employees, and business leaders to achieve results. Primary areas of responsibility include:
Day-to-day management of Roanoke facility ad employees including hiring, correction, and termination.
Monitors branch quality control regarding timely filing of paperwork, A/R, customer complaints, and quality of service.
Ownership of Roanoke P&L.
**Reporting Structure**
The Roanoke Branch Manager will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Lawrence Equipment. This person is also expected to interface with other management, including the leaders of the different business divisions. This position may have subordinates assigned and oversee the work of all Roanoke Branch employees
**Essential Functions & Major Accountabilities**
Provides EVP with weekly reports on open work orders, open invoices, and technician productivity.
Provides EVP with monthly and quarterly reports on branch profitability, key metrics including parts inventory turn ratio and absorption rate.
Ensure repairs are done on a correct cost/value basis.
Work with corporate rental manager on billing, inventory management, and rental check-in/check-out.
Monitors ongoing performance in all areas of operations, recommending and ensuring the best methods are used.
Develops a continuing education program to align team with current and emerging technologies and best practices, including outside resources if necessary to grow long term technicians organically.
Creates culture of ownershipPride in Workmanship for all employees including workplace environment, equipment upkeep, and overall morale.
Performs administrative functions and record keeping including developing technician time auditing and approval, repair order maintenance, and compliance documentation.
Partners with HR to address corrective actions for branch employees.
Monitors and analyzes opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiency for customers.
Develops processes to hold accountability in the areas of overall effectiveness related to division KPIs.
Required Skills **Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Accountabilities**
Thorough knowledge of industry best practices, including familiarity with heavy equipment repair and maintenance and OSHA regulations.
Ability to direct the work of others through delegation; instills continuous improvement and employee professional goals.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to manage difficult customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, and solicits customer feedback to improve.
Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently; strong attention to detail; highly developed organizational skills, sets and meet deadlines.
Must be an analytical minded individual with attention to detail.
Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive projects to completion.
Must be a positive minded individual with problem solving ability, as well as display confidence when making recommendations for improvement.

Required Experience **Education/Experience Requirements**
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work related experience.
Total of 10+ years overall experience in heavy equipment operations.
Proven track record of at least 2 years strong leadership experience.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow through skills
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment, and be flexible/adaptable to change.
Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, email software, and the use of the Internet. Preferred experience with IT systems (ex. RIMSS).
