    Title: Data Engineer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

    Company: Government Client

    Work Model: 100% Remote

    Engagement: 6 month contract (40 hour weeks)

    Rate: $80-$100/hr. (DOE)

    Included: As a Brooksource consultant working directly with our client, you will be a W2 employee with full-time 40 hour work week. Comprehensive benefits (health, vision, dental), paid holidays, & sick time accrual is available to all employees on contract.

    Job Summary

    As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data Engineer for a local government client. You will be responsible for the development, support, configuration, and automation of the business solutions and business units on the SFMC ecosystem.

    You will be the SME for all things email and digital communications across the Salesforce Marketing stack. You will act as the primary support for the product and business teams and the primary enabler for all the data extensions and data built needed to ensure ongoing production support and new enhancements.

    Typical Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross functional business teams to develop technical solutions utilizing SFMC tools: Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Ad Studio, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder
    • Map Data across multiple data sources, driving standardization and creating workflows that support personalization in customer communications
    • Provide guidance around best practices and integration patterns
    • Coordinate recovery from incidents utilizing well defined operational procedures, tools, and efficient communication across internal and external stakeholders
    • Provide SME in implementing additional SFMC product capabilities
    • Interface with global MarTech support vendors and internal teams
    • Produce and present solution options to project leadership with clear definitions of the benefits and tradeoffs of each proposal.

    Qualifications

    • years experience working on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform as a sr. or lead
    • knowledge of AMPscript, SQL and working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
    • in SFMC data integrations: cloud connector, data extensions, integration with external systems (via APIs) – especially Salesforce Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, Apigee, Akamai, Validity (Everest)
    • Consultant or Administrator certifications is a plus.
    • of 4 years with technologies and processes for CRM, content management systems, digital asset management software, web content management.
    • in managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances.
    • with agile software delivery (Scrum methodology)
    • technical understanding of data model, data mapping and data integration with a cross-functional mindset
