- Minimum of five (5) years of industrial/manufacturing experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in executing launch processes
- Proficiency in English is a prerequisite
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Background in the aluminum extrusion sector is advantageous
- Familiarity with the Automotive Industry, particularly Tier 1-3 segments
- Experience in Extrusion and Fabrication is beneficial
- Knowledge of metals (preferably aluminum) and fabrication processes, exposure to lean manufacturing, and adeptness in technical writing
- Acquaintance with PMBOK and basic program management principles
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects effectively through a manufacturing setup and ensure successful transitions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Capability to manage program scope, timing, and budget effectively
- Lead as the Program Manager for program launches from inception through a three-month post-launch phase
- Act as a mediator between Hydro's Business Development team, manufacturing units, Product Development Engineers, and clients to clarify RFQ requirements, Scope of Work (SOW), timelines, and budget monitoring
- Complete program execution through APQP. Engage in Capacity Planning, Asset and Plant selection, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, WIS, SOP, Standard Work, SCM, CS, pVelocity, Variable margin analyses, post-mortem reviews, and Lessons Learned
- Ensure a smooth handover post the three-month period to the local plant team(s). Conduct assessments to evaluate the feasibility, costs, or performance advantages of new equipment
- Travel requirement of up to 50%, including domestic and international trips

Job Summary
This role entails serving as a Program Manager responsible for coordinating and facilitating activities related to the launch and scaling up of new business opportunities for the operation, with a special focus on automotive and complex programs. The primary aim is to guide new business ventures from concept to establishing a reliable and standardized production process that meets customer requirements and profitability objectives. The incumbent will oversee activities ranging from capability analysis, pre-sales, process trials, and verification across all manufacturing areas (Casting, Extrusion, Fabrication, and Packaging). Additionally, they will act as a crucial link between Quality Assurance, the Commercial team, and key Customer contacts.
