    Our client is looking for a Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer in their greater Portland, OR location to

    develops and oversee all aspects of hydraulic systems, equipment, and machinery.

    LOCATION:

    Greater Portland, OR

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    :

    Coordinate and work with outside sales team and/or customers to develop detailed quotes and proposals on new opportunities
    Review of project specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements; and, also provide direction and/or resolution to customer concerns and issues
    Develop hydraulic schematics utilizing AutoCAD and have the ability to interpret all aspects of mechanical and hydraulic design drawings and specs
    Experience with Autodesk Inventor to develop 3D equipment layout drawings
    Research supplier products for assembly components and maintaining a great working relationship with vendors
    Working knowledge of PLC''s, Motion Control and relay logic
    Troubleshoot field testing and installation
    Consistently be diligent with achieving department / branch goals and metrics
    Attention to detail while multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure
    Work on submittal creation, training instructions and O&M manuals
    Mentor fellow team mates and shop technicians
    Delegation of design tasks to designers and junior engineers

    QUALIFICATIONS
    :

    BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    10+ years' Industrial Hydraulic Design experience
    Thorough knowledge of Fluid Power & Industrial Controls
    Experience reading and modifying programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Valve Controllers
    Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet project deadlines
    Analytical and problem solving skills
    Excellent documentation and also communication skills to effectively communicate with company personnel
    Ability to work independently and also in a team environment
