    Position Title Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology Job Description Summary


    The Department of Psychology at BARNARD COLLEGE, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY seeks a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Adolescent or Child Clinical Psychology.

    Teaching responsibilities are four courses per year, including Clinical Psychology and its laboratory component, an upper-level seminar in an area of specialization, and Statistics or Research Methods.

    Applicants must have a Ph.
    D. or Psy.
    D.

    in psychology or related discipline at time of appointment, a record of scholarly publication that is commensurate with their career stage, proven capacity for teaching excellence, experience advising or mentoring at the college level, and the ability and desire to perform service within the department, college, and university.

    We are especially interested in candidates who are able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from all backgrounds.

    Candidates are expected to establish an active, externally funded research program that incorporates undergraduate mentoring.
