- Designs mobile hydraulic systems for new and existing OEM customers.
- Uses expertise and discretion to provide technical and pricing information to field sales.
- Helps prepare quotes and proposals that vary in scope.
- Screens proposals to ensure the scope of work and required resources are appropriate. Has the authority to reject work that is outside of scope.
- Works with suppliers and FORCE America manufacturing locations to source products.
- Researches mobile hydraulic opportunities, learns existing applications, and communicates opportunities for growth.
- Trains field sales staff on new and existing technology.
- Represents FORCE America, in coordination with sales, with customers in person, electronically, and via phone.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree with a focus of study on fluid power, mechatronics, or a related field. Certified Fluid Power Certification is a plus.
- Minimum two years of experience interacting directly with customers in a problem-solving capacity.
- 3+ years of experience with the design of mobile hydraulic systems that reflect a strong understanding of fluid power products, electronic controls, vendors, complete systems, and solutions.
- Strong communication skills are required to interact as a technical expert with all levels of customers, vendors, and FORCE America staff.
- Technical aptitude that demonstrates the ability to visualize and design new products and applications.
