- Perform day-to-day clerical and administrative functions, including record keeping, database management, appointment setting, preparation of reports, and receptionist duties.
- Input NFP and/or other Community & Family Health data in a timely and accurate manner into web-based information system(s).
- Screen office calls, visitors, and mail, and assist staff with routine requests.
- Ensure all required supplies and materials are available as needed and that equipment is in good working order.
- Answer special requests and solve problems while routing to other staff and leadership when appropriate.
- Attend regular staff meetings, one-on-one meetings with the NFP Supervisor, and periodic professional development and other training.
- Conduct outreach and recruitment activities for the program and the department throughout the year as needed.
- Accurately document all service provision, both electronically and physically, within designated timeframes.
- Maintain accurate timesheets and all other reporting as required by the department and/or grant guidelines.
- Participate in the data collection and data entry of evaluation instruments to measure progress and impact of the department.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of customer service experience in an administrative setting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft/technical products.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to complete duties within deadlines and while attending to multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Two or more years of customer service experience in an administrative setting.
- Experience working with community-serving agencies.

Essential Functions
This position is responsible for providing clerical, data entry, and general support to the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program and the Department of Community & Family Health (C&FH).
Required Application Materials
Generally, the normal work hours for the university are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 - 5:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with a one-hour lunch.
The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and on weekends to meet the needs of the department.
