    :

    As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the accounting department to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will oversee the operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely AP and AR application, posting of financial data to the General Ledger, and monitors for any unusual events and/or opportunities for increased efficiency. Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL, and others as needed. Supervise team of accounting professionals providing guidance, support, and training. Develop, improve, and implement, accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Manage cash flow and treasury functions, including monitoring bank accounts, reconciling statements, and optimizing cash management strategies. Evaluate and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning, budgeting, and decision making.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree within Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA not required but preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years within a supervisory role Thorough knowledge of GAAP principals, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite including Excel and ability to comfortably navigate accounting ERP systems Experience within the manufacturing, distribution, or food processing industry is a huge plus
