    Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, and creative administrative professional to join the AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) Supply Chain organization as an Executive Assistant.

    This position will support 2 directors on our Systems & Supportability team.

    The ideal candidate is adaptable, resourceful, friendly, collaborative, decisive, and self-motivated and has a strong history of high performance.

    Thinking holistically, creating efficiencies, and applying consistently sound judgement to decisions are critical to the success of this role as are the ability to remain calm under pressure, display a strong work ethic, have a sense of humor, and use excellent judgement in dealing with highly confidential information.

    The successful EA for this role will thrive in a fast-paced environment while always keeping an eye toward minute details as well as the big picture.

    This role requires outstanding planning, time management, and organizational skills. Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests is critical. Professionalism in dealing with senior executives is imperative.

    Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a positive and fun team environment are a must, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction at a moment's notice.


    This is a demanding but highly rewarding role, allowing exposure to broad and diverse areas of the AWS business and an opportunity to work with EAs in other senior leadership offices on a multitude of exciting tasks.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Scheduling highly confidential meetings and managing confidential documents and information
    • Managing a complex calendar; the successful candidate will be responsible for using sound judgement in mapping out daytoday meetings, events, and responsibilities
    • Scheduling and tracking key meeting series, then working backwards from those deadlines to ensure deliverables are met
    • Working with a highperforming, fun, and collaborative group of EAs located around the world
    • Creating and enforcing mechanisms that are scalable and that optimize efficiency around everyday tasks, while continually auditing current administrative mechanisms for relevance
    • Planning, executing, and assisting with team events
    • Having fun at work and helping others do the same

    Basic Qualifications

    • 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
    • High school or equivalent diploma
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
    Preferred Qualifications

    • 4+ years of senior level leadership support experience
    • Experience in a fastpaced, hightech company
    • Experience managing multiple calendars
    • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Amazon is a total compensation company.

    Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
