The University of Colorado School of Medicine Physical Therapy Program in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is home to three educational programs: the Physical Therapy Program, Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency Program, and PhD Program in Rehabilitation Science.

News and World Report and is one of the first 25 educational programs still in existence in the United States.

This position is a part-time, .025 FTE appointment with service responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado, as well as accreditation standards as set forth by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

The qualified individual will have expertise in requirements for admission into the CU DPT program as well as awareness of attributes of a successful candidate from a diversity, equity, inclusion and community involvement lens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training for holistic review rubric reliability
• Access and navigation of the PTCAS/WebAdmit website
• Completing admissions holistic reviews
• Timely completion of an assigned number of holistic reviews
• Achievement of expected scoring reliability based on specific scoring criteria
• Possible participation in admissions decision meetings
• Timely reporting of hours completed per month
• Optional mentorship of prospective students through UC Denver (and potentially future UCCS and CU Boulder) pathway programs
• The overall determination of allocation of time and effort will be subject to the determination of the Program Director.

All faculty provide support for CAPTE self-study and annual accreditation activities. This position requires flexibility for days of the week and times of day due PT Program needs.

This position will report to the Chair of the Admissions Committee with potential reporting to the Chair of the Recruitment Committee.

Work Location:

Remote- this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States and attend in-person meetings, classroom and/or laboratory activities located at the UCCS campus.

Qualifications:
Minimum

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a lower-level physical therapy degree with a terminal degree (such as PhD, DSc, DHS, EdD, or equivalent)
• A current PT license in any state within the US

Preferred

Qualifications:

• Graduate or clinical/educational affiliate of CU PT Program.
• A background of familiarity with challenges of individuals underrepresented in medicine.
• Experience with online website navigation.
• Interest in clinical and educational mentoring of potential physical therapy students through pipeline programs

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$40.00-$46.00 /hr

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
