Job Description:

As a Foreman, you will be responsible for independently performing expert tasks in plant safety after internal training or education.

This includes conducting inspections according to the BetrSichV on steam boilers and pressure vessels, creating expert opinions on compliance with safety standards and approval requirements, primarily in the field of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

You will also evaluate components and process systems in industrial plants, analyze and assess their safety, and ensure compliance with national and European guidelines, particularly the BetrSichV and PED.

Additionally, you will communicate and support customers both in-house and in the field to ensure long-term cooperation and acquire new clients.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.

You must have completed further training as a welding engineer and have experience with the Pressure Equipment Directive. Experience with ASME or UKCA is desirable. You should also have several years of experience in the production and operation of pressure vessels or industrial plants.

Recognition as an expert by the ZÜS (pressure) and knowledge of common destructive and non-destructive testing methods (
RT, VT, MT, PT, UT) are required.

You should have a strong sense of responsibility, be able to handle stress, be reliable, and have good communication and problem-solving skills.
