    Location: Horsham, PA_

    Shift: Tuesday through Saturday 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm

    10% Shift differential offered

    Job Summary:

    This position involves batch compilation, sample delivery, and retrieval, plus various support activities.

    Requirements:

    ·High School Diploma

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    ŸBatch compilation:

    ŸCollect and organize samples for sample preparation using production management tools.

    ŸCollect and organize calibration/control/internal standard/blank materials for sample preparation.

    ŸCompile and label tubes/vials for sample preparation

    ŸTransport batch delivery and pick-up from testing departments

    ŸRetrieve & transport specimens under COC from Processing to Lab

    ŸRe-stock laboratory supplies as needed.

    ŸMonitor equipment maintenance through TempTrak; clean and respond to alerts as needed.

    ŸRe-locate samples/QC materials in the event a unit goes down.

    ŸParticipate in departmental meetings and projects.

    ŸMaintain regular and reliable attendance.

    ŸOther duties as assigned.

    ŸExhibit professional and effective interpersonal skills.

    ŸAbility to read and comprehend company procedures and apply them to work operations.

    ŸMust be detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.

    ŸMust be flexible in scheduling and available for overtime as required.

    ŸGood customer service focus and ability to work as part of a team.

    Physical Demands

    ŸAbility to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to manipulate computer keyboard, objects, or controls.

    ŸRequires walking from one work location to another throughout the shift.

    ŸSitting and standing for extended periods of time

    ŸLifting and carrying objects up to 10 pounds

    ŸSpecific vision abilities (with correction) include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    ŸExposure to intermittent or constant sounds generated by equipment.

    ŸExposure to fumes, noxious odors and dust

    ŸHandling of biological material and blood-borne pathogens

    ŸHandling of toxic or caustic chemicals
