:
We are seeking anInvestmentPrincipal based in the Stamford / New York metro-area area to join DCG Expeditions, our small and dynamic early-stage crypto investment team within DCG.
. This role reports to the Head of DCG Expeditions.
What you'll be responsible for:
Proactively source investment opportunities via building and maintaining relationships with top VCs (generalist/fintech/crypto)
Meet withearly stagefounders and assess potential for investment according to the Expeditions scorecard and framework
Write investmentmemos
Liaise with legal team in legal diligence andclosing
Work with post-investment platform team to ensure DCG is value-add to portfoliocompanies
Represent DCG Expeditions at events from time totime
Propose and run sourcingexperiments
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree (finance, business, engineering or related field), advanced degree preferred
6 – 10 years of relevant experience in early stage investing, fintech, crypto or AI
Strong understanding of venture capital through prior experience as aVC investoror as a startup operator having raised from venture capital
Demonstrated interest in crypto; prior experience in fintech/crypto/AI aplus
Early stageVC network (web2, fintech, crypto, AI) and very good at relationship building and management
Ability to build a broad network, learn quickly and keep on topic of emerging trends in a face-pacedindustry
Founder empathy and understanding

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
